REFLECTION
In this collage assignment we are supposed to make a collage out of newspapers or magazines. We are supposed to choose one of 9 characters of God, and I chose creative. We have to show how are we created in God’s image and show it through the character too. I choose creativity because I think the strong one in me is that character. I am not so sure, though I tried to make this collage. I decided to not just cut and stick the newspaper or magazine on the paper given. For the magazine, I literally cut out the letters and stick it on the paper, but I didn’t do the same for the newspapers. I tried to find the colors that I want to ue. I made little containers, and I cut the newspapers into tiny pieces of different colors. Then, in the paper, I glued the part I want to “color” with the small pieces and pour the small papers into the glued part so it would stick on the paper. I did it to color the bottom part, and I take a scrap paper and make outlined clouds. I also stick it on the paper which part is colored blue as the sky. Around that part, I write the assigned bible verse along with the character. Then I color the earth myself because I couldn’t have more time to cut the newspaper again. I also made some people below the earth to show how god has made so many people yet every person is different and special. It’s like the same as me creating different characters for my favorite thing to do: drawing.
