Mathematics
quarter 1
What did I learn?
In this quarter, we reviewed a bit of exponents and continued to Quadratic formulas and graphs. We did mostly practices in class time, but there were also some tests. One of them is criteria A, and the other one is B&C combined.
Why was this my best work?
The criteria A would be my best sample work. I got a 6, which is very satisfying. I wasn’t really confident at first, and there were some questions that I can’t solve too. The test was hard, but I managed to get a 6.
What did I do well?
I did well on answering the questions. Although some questions aren’t even answered, the results were good for me. I did review some of the formulas, though I didn’t want to remember all of them. In the end though I mostly remembered the formulas that I have to.
How can I improve?
I could’ve remembered the basics too. The last question I didn’t answer was simple once I can remember a basic rule. I regret that I didn’t review the basics together with the formulas because with reviewing the basics I could have got the last question’s answer.
How does this sample relate to global context?
Math would relate to the global context scientific and technical innovation since the things we learn in math are just “how the world works”.

Quarter 2What did I learn?
In this quarter in math, we learned about inequalities. Why was this sample my best work? What did I do well? My best work is my inequalities test, which is knowledge and understanding et in which I got 7 out of 8. I am quite satisfied because obviously if I get a high score, I answered the questions correctly. |
What can I improve?
Although my score is really satisfying, I still need to work on this because I didn’t quite focus enough in the class so I was having a hard time answering the 2 last questions in the test.
How does this sample relate to Global Context? (Orientation in Space and Time/Globalization and Sustainability)
It relates more to Globalization and Sustainability because math relates to the whole world and math in all countries are basically the same, proving the sharing of ideas.
