Visual ARts

I think as a whole picture without anything being graded, it’s quite nice. But when it’s graded or when we ask people’s opinion, they might not understand the picture or say that it’s not clear. From this, I know that I have to make things clearer so the people seeing the artwork can understand what the object is. I have to make the shadows clearer too and also the outline so viewers can see it better than what it is now. the strength that I know I got is that it’s a nice design and a nice landscape. I can select and make shadows clearly, some people said. But I don’t put enough effort in it and some parts are still not fully done when it’s due. I didn’t put things clearly too. So next time I should put more effort, make the shadow and outline clearer, and be more tidy. From this work I learned that pointillism is not as easy as I think, and I learned that the process of making a picture in this subject is not as simple and we might need many inspiration. I learnt about the stippling technique we use in making this picture, and I learned about foreground, middle ground and background used in landscape. I learned that shadows have to be logical and clear, and I also learned that the person that first introduced pointillism is George Seurat.
